Who I Am
I’m Michael Keller — a STEM tutor with a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence (Florida Atlantic University). After several years as a data scientist/ML engineer, I’ve returned to my roots: helping students build problem-solving skills, confidence, and strong math foundations.
Programs & Eligibility
- Families using Florida Choice Scholarships (Step Up For Students) are welcome: FES-EO, FTC, PEP, FES-UA, and NWSA (NWSA limited to math/literacy). Private students also welcome.
- Direct Pay via EMA supported; reimbursement documentation available if preferred.
- Based in Palm Beach County for in-person and virtual sessions; virtual statewide for all Florida counties.
Services
- Grades K–12: number sense, fractions, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and (on request) calculus, physics, or programming in Python.
- Homework support, test prep, study skills, and regular parent/guardian check-ins.
- 1:1 and small group (2–4 students) options available.
- Sessions typically 1 hour; K–5 short sessions (30 minutes) also available.
Rates
- 1:1: $70/hour
- Small group (2–4 students): $60/hour per student
Each student pays individually through their scholarship account. - K–5 short session: 30 minutes at $50
I keep rates accessible so scholarship funds can support consistent help across the school year. We can tailor a plan to match your goals and budget.
How It Works

- Choose Direct Pay in EMA (or reimbursement) — I’ll share the listing/details.
- Book sessions as needed (24-hour cancellation policy).
How to Find Me on EMA
Once your family’s scholarship is active, you can book tutoring through EMA (Education Market Assistant) — Step Up For Students’ online marketplace for approved providers.
Steps:
- Log in to your EMA account.
- Click “Find Services” in the left-hand menu.
- Search for: Michael Keller (Palm Beach County).
- Select the appropriate service (1:1 or group tutoring), choose your session time, and submit.
- Once the session is delivered, Step Up pays me directly — no reimbursement needed.
